In the days of September 26-30 there will be the 55th annual conference of International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank (WB) in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. This will be the first action of that sort in Eastern Europe after the collapse of Stalinism

Some Irish information

Some Irish anti-WTO organisations set up stands in the plaza around the Central Bank on Sat. 27th Nov. at 1pm. This has been a traditional focal point for protests for some years as the steps of the bank made a useful platform. The bank in the pursuit of money over people is currently putting an end to all that though, the two articles below only they don't mention the demonstrations, just that "We regularly have important visitors and it doesn't exactly give the right impression,"
