Who we are.

"Libertarian Alternative" is a political organization which devotes the esential part of its activity towards defending the social movements its militants take part in, and libertarian values and practices. Libertarian struggle refuses the delegation of power. As far as we're concerned, it's not up to parties, but to workers, youth, the people, to be in charge of their contemporary struggles, and of great social transformations, the autonomous socialism of tomorrow.

This fight against authority is necessary for an alternative to be able to take form and not be recuperated by politicians of all colours.

Our struggle is for Liberty, against the moral order and fascism which are re-emerging, against all authoritarian ideologies, for everyone's freedom of expression.

Our struggle is for Equality, to finish with economic expoitation, misery, and ghettos, the distinction between workers from here and elsewhere. The only distinction we make is between exploiters and exploited.

Our struggle is for Solidarity: Homelessness, unemployment, social struggles, Third-World; the militants of "Libertarian Alternative" want to be there in all areas where the dictatorship of money is exercised. To lead this struggle forward, we organize. Not in a stifling sect, but in an autonomous federation in which everybody is responsible.

This is indispensible in order to be effective. It's necessary in order to do politics differently.

It's vital in order for our aspirations not to be betrayed once again.

The threats grow greater every day: We can only count on ourselves to push through change.
