DATE: Wednesday, April 28th, 2004
TIME: 6.30pm
LOCATION: Top of Grafton Street - St Stephens Green end

Come and see what is really planned for May Day in Dublin this weekend. Dublin Grassroots Network will be rehearsing their May Day street theatre at the top of Grafton Street on Wednesday, April 28th at 6.30pm.

Meet the Radical Cheerleaders and protesters from the 'Pink & Silver' Block. A short excerpt from the 'No Borders' street theatre will also be performed in order to give the general public a sneak preview of the weekend's events.

While the Irish Government is deploying armed gardai and water cannons this weekend, discover the protesters' weapons of choice - glitter, bubbles, whistles and pom poms!

Spokespeople for Dublin Grassroots Network will also be available for face-to-face interviews.
