Obviously the minute taker got it wrong and incorrectly recorded the first-hand observations of Blair and his staff. How such an incompetent got allocated to minute the highest governmental meeting is not explained. Nor is the fact that none of the people at the meeting noticed that their words had been changed!
Ask yourself this. What is more likely? That someone with no secretarial experience and a predilection for creative writing was allocated to minute a key government meeting or the memo accurately reflects the options of Blair and his Cabinet? And never mind the fact that the US and UK subjected Iraq to illegal bombing in 2002 in an attempt to provoke Saddam to strike back and so create an excuse for war (at the time these raids were justified in terms of enforcing the no-fly zones, subsequent revelations have shown their real purpose).
When is this sick, evil muppet going to resign? Probably when the Labour Party gets some backbone and kicks him out. That is never -- unless people actually start to protest over this issue and arrest him for being the war criminal he truly is.
