Programme Of Events Organised by Immigrant Solidarity, Cork

12pm - 1pm

Venue: Various Places in Cork City - The Bus Station, Fianna Fail Offices etc.

The Disappeared: A street theatre protest to acknowledge the plight of the 16 people deported by the Irish Government since the beginning of this year under the terms of the 'Dublin Convention'.

At 1pm - 2pm

City-Wide March: 'No Deportations, No Racism'

Assemble At Daunt Square (junction of Patrick's Street and the Grand Parade), Cork City at 12.45 -1pm.

All Banners, Placards and Posters Welcome.

The City-Wide March will pass by the Immigration Office in Cork (at Anglesea St) to hand in a letter of protest. It will proceed from Anglesea Street to Patrick Street, returning to Daunt Square for a rally and speeches.

2-15 - 2.30pm

Venue: Daunt Square (junction of Patrick's Street and the Grand Parade), Cork City

'Who Is To Blame?' : A street theatre production about racism and deportations by the Youth Links theatre group, Gurranabraher. 'Who Is To Blame?' will be performed immediately after the speeches and rally at Daunt Sq.
